Please help me raise money to build a school in Cambodia!
I’m so excited to be raising funds to build a school in Cambodia.
Imagine how your life or the lives of your children would be different today if you never went to school...
I believe that a good education is critical to tackling many of the world's problems including poverty, conflicts, and terrorism. Yet too many children around the world don't have access to it.
Classroom of Hope is a fantastic charity making huge inroads into this through their projects in Rwanda and Asia. I’ve been so inspired by their work I decided to raise the funds to build a school.
Rather than doing this myself I thought it would be a lot easier and more fun to bring together an amazing team of 12 entrepreneurs. Between us we are raising the funds to build the school and then in December 2019/early 2020 we’ll go to Cambodia to see the school and help out in the local community.
With approximately £45,000 Classroom of Hope will build a child-friendly school. They work in partnership with the local community, and with agreement from local officials to invest in providing paid teachers so the schools are sustainable. Our partners also provide extra training to teachers to ensure the children in these remote areas receive a good quality education. You can find out more about this project HERE.
All funds raised will go towards building the school and associated community projects. I’ll be paying for my trip to Cambodia myself.
Please help us help a whole community of young people for generations to come by giving whatever you can to our fundraising campaign.
Donations are in pound sterling. If you live outside the UK, £10 = US$13 = €11 (approximate values as at December 2018).
Thanks for your support, it means a lot!
